If a book we select does not resonate with you, let your curator know within fourteen days. We will replace it at no extra cost and adjust your profile so the next pick lands closer to the mark. We have maintained this promise since our founding, and fewer than four percent of parcels have ever triggered it.

You choose a cadence that suits your reading speed. Most subscribers opt for a monthly delivery, but we also offer bi-monthly and quarterly plans. You can pause or switch at any time without penalty — life gets busy, and your bookshelf should never feel like a deadline.
Absolutely. Gift subscriptions are available in three-, six-, and twelve-month packages. We include a personalised welcome card with your message, and the recipient fills out their own reading profile so every selection is tailored to them, not to your taste.
At this time we ship exclusively within Canada, covering all provinces and territories. International expansion is something we are exploring for late 2026, and you can join our mailing list to be notified when cross-border shipping becomes available.
When you create your profile, you can upload or type a list of titles you already own. Our curators cross-check every pick against that list. If a duplicate slips through — it has happened exactly twice in five years — we replace it immediately and cover return postage.
Every book we ship is brand new. We partner directly with independent Canadian publishers and distributors to source our inventory, which means your subscription also supports the local literary ecosystem. If you prefer a specific edition or format (hardcover versus paperback), you can note that preference in your profile.
